    Welcome

    Soccer Skills

Welcome to the West United Soccer League website. The league is located in West Valley City, Utah and we are proud to be one of the best and largest soccer leagues helping hundreds of kids to enjoy learning to play soccer.

The West United Soccer League is a great place to start your children in the learning and training of soccer. We have a great organization with committed volunteers of coaches, referees, and board members. We have started our 2009-20010 season and have the schedules here online. Call us at our hotline number to signup or if you have any questions. If you'd like to be a volunteer in our organization, please contact us.

    Score Advantage Rule

In the West United League, we wish to provide an atmosphere of Safety and Sportsmanship. This leads to the following ruling under Sportsmanship that we call Score Advantage. This is when a team is down by three (3) points at any point in the game; the team that is down in points has the opportunity to improve their advantage by adding one (1) extra player to the field for each score against them.

For example, if a team is down in points by 3-0, 4-1, 5-2, etc. they may add an additional player to their team on the field.

Empowering Parents To Empower Youth (Open Forum)

This is an open forum invitation to have all youth, parents, and volunteers attend. Hope to see you all there at the booth fair.

For grades 7-12" on Wednesday, February 10 at 5:30pm.

    Shoes: Soccer vs Other Sports

There have been a number of parents that have purchased shoes that are not soccer approved. We thought we would post what is approved to help make sure you get the right equipment so your child can play.

It is against the rules to play with cleats that are not soccer approved. So, what is the difference between Soccer shoes and other sports cleats, like football or baseball? Aren't they all the same?
